I wasn't speaking in terms of just the music either.

The 80s is always portrayed as being a fun decade for teens and adults. However, if you were a kid growing up during the decade then you were too young to experience majority of the "fun." Also, if you were a child in the 80s, then there was a good chance you were a latchkey kid. I was and I was born in 1977.

It is great that you had a great time during the 80s. Just keep in mind that not everyone had that same positive experience especially if they are from a different age group. Now I am sure there some who wold love to relive their childhood in the 80s. While others out there may be just like me and have no desire to relive it.
